Vacation Getaway on Anderson Island? Where Will You Stay?

One of the beautiful things about Anderson Island is that it is such a quiet and tranquil place. If you are considering getting away for a day or a weekend then you will need to consider lodging on the island.

Anderson Island does not have a hotel so you cannot simply call and make reservations to your favorite hotel chain. What Anderson Island does have is some very nice Bed and Breakfast inns.  Staying in a B&B has always been enjoyable for us. Getting to know the people who run it while you are staying there is one of the advantages of choosing a B&B. While we have not stayed on any of the B&B’s on Anderson Island we thought it would be a good thing to share what information we have on them so that if you’re interested you can make a decision with a bit more information than just saying “Oh, that one sounds nice”

Our First Bed and Breakfast is the Sweet Woodruff Bed & Breakfast

Located at 10717 Olympic Place, Anderson Island WA 98303

The Sweet Woodruff features an upstairs suite. Furnished with a Queen sized bed, a kitchenette, and a private bath. If you are looking for something a bit more spacious they also have  “Grandmas Cottage” which is just a short walk from the inn and sleeps up to six. The cottage is a 2 bedroom unit with a fully furnished kitchen and laundry facilities.  Currently the suite is offered for $125 a night with a 2 night minimum. The cottage is $175 a night 2 night minimum with a $35 dollar cleaning fee. Maximum occupancy on the cottage is 6 people. Both units provide guests with use of the members only facilities at the various Riviera parks, lakes etc.

Does this sound like a place you would like to spend a couple of nights? Find out more by visiting The Sweet Woodruff’s website by following this link.

We will be introducing more Bed and Breakfast inns on Anderson Island in future posts. Please feel free to share your comments and suggestions here.
