The Pierce County Council is considering as part of the 2012 budget for Pierce County raising the cost of a ferry trip to Ketron and Anderson Islands.
Currently off peak ferry fares for a car and driver are $15.80 the budget proposal would raise the fare to $16.80
Peak rates are currently $19.00 for a car and driver. The budget proposal would increase the fare to $21.00

that is so freaking ridiculous. i am considering moving to anderson island and thought the ferry prices are over the top already. i do not understand the reasoning. please enlighten me oh mighty one. geeZ
