Explore Anderson Island was out and about on Anderson Island this weekend. We took a bunch of photographs and we will be posting them here there and everywhere soon.
Here are a couple to get you started.
The first one is a great idea to help you get motivated to mow the lawn! Not sure how well it really works but when we were driving by we saw this and had to stop and take a photo.
This one is of the Wide Awake Hollow. Once a one room school house this building and the surrounding ground have been converted into a park and a sort of recreation center. One island resident was telling us this was called “Sleepy Hollow” before the bright paint and updating. I think we like it the way it is now.
We have a lot more photos that we took. The weather was not the greatest but that is really the way it is here in the greater Puget Sound region. We are editing more photos and will be sharing them in a gallery soon.
If you have any photos of Anderson Island that you would like to share please let us know. We would love to have your photos on the site to share with others. Send us an email explorer AT exploreandersonisland.com
