The Anderson Island Ferry will have a modified schedule during the Fourth of July holiday week.
In an effort to reduce delays for visitors to Anderson Island. Pierce County has a second ferry on standby to help out in case of heavy traffic to and from Anderson Island. This is welcome news for anyone that is thinking of going to the island for the 4th. of July!
Additionally due to the tides there will potentially be issues with large vehicles boarding the ferry. For more information on the dates and times of that will be impacted by the tide you can visit this link for updates on Anderson Island Ferry loading. The major impact will potentially be for large vehicles like RV’s or tractor trailer rigs.

We are going over on Monday and spending the day meeting with people. Our schedule this year does not allow us to enjoy the Fourth of July on the island. Hopefully we will be able to spend the Labor Day weekend on the island.
